Is it really 100% free?
Yes. Every lab, all 50 PBQ questions, and the full 200-question exam simulator are unlocked from the start — there's no premium tier or paywall.
Are the exam questions real CompTIA exam questions?
No, and honestly, no legitimate prep tool would claim that. These are 200 original questions we wrote to match the real exam's format, difficulty, and domain weighting — reproducing actual leaked exam questions ("brain dumps") violates CompTIA's candidate agreement and isn't something we do.
How is the practice exam timed and scored?
You choose 25, 90 (the real exam's length), or all 200 questions, with roughly 1 minute per question on the clock. After each answer you get a hint option and a full explanation, then a final score with a domain-by-domain breakdown so you know exactly what to review next.
How is my progress saved?
Progress is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), so it's private to your device. If you switch browsers or clear site data, your progress won't carry over.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes, the labs are responsive and work on mobile, though the Topology Builder is easiest to use with a mouse or trackpad on a larger screen.
